Easy Way to Blur Text or Faces Free in Videos for YouTube Uploads

In this era where video leads the content marketing. It is no doubt important to know some basic aspects of video editing especially if you are uploading it on YouTube for promotions.

Many of the times, you create a tutorial video, product demonstration video or a self-explanatory video to let user know about something that you wish to let them know.

In certain scenarios, when you have recorded your video using screen camera or video shooting, you are required to hide some critical information such as your real name, email address, telephone number or IP address that gets captured in the entire screen.

Sometimes, you just want to blur the face or an object that you wish to hide for security or personal reasons. Many users face this situation when planning to upload their videos on YouTube.

Simply follow the steps below.

Sign in to your YouTube account

Then go to Video Manager

Under Videos, select the video and click the dropdown next to Edit.

And then click on Enhancements

Once you click on Blurring Effects you will see two options

1. Blur Faces - This option automatically finds faces and blurs them.

 2. Custom Blurring - This option lets you choose the areas that you wish to blur, the text, images or faces.

 Once you click on edit, it gives you the interface to blur the region with the timeline. Once done. click on save. And that's it. You're done.

 This is the most easy way to blur images and faces in videos for uploading on YouTube or any other online platform.
